A Wedding Gift

The Goal: I wanted to give a gift that would last forever, and could be on a desk, shelf and window sill to remind a great couple of their wedding date. It is simply an engraved 2.25” disc of stainless steel which has two flat sections on the circumference to allow it to easily stand. The surface and edges are sanded smooth and I used machinist marking fluid to provide contrast for the engraving.
